Jennie's portraits of your family capture your own, truly distinctive lifestyle against a backdrop of sun, sea and sky, or on a countryside walk, in bluebell woods or lavender fields. You may prefer portraits set within your family home or gardens, convivial, relaxed, truly illustrating your family's life together.

Jennie's aim is to capture images of you and your family in the most authentic way.

It's how you live and these images of you and your children will be created in all their vibrancy, colour and joy by a photographer dedicated to capturing that moment when you catch your breath and wish that it would last forever!

Before the shoot Jennie will find out what you are looking for, your ideas, so that she can capture from your shoot a sense of your style and the essence of your family life.

Favourite places for shoots include Tatton Park, Thurstaston Hill, Lyme Park, Alderley Edge, Red Rocks, Peckforton Castle, Abersoch and St. Andrews, Fife!

In addition to beauty spots Jennie will often try to include some funky urban shots in the day if there are older children and teenagers involved. This tends to get them more involved and interested particularly if, for those shots, they can wear clothes to go with the settings! Artistic graffiti in backgrounds is often a popular inclusion with teenagers!

Jennie has incredible patience and is really good at having fun. Having grown up with a much younger brother – her first model – and with 2 stepsons, now teenagers, her tendency to act like a big kid works wonders in family shoots.

Family Session Fees start at £75. This is for a shoot lasting around 3 hours in 2 – 3 different locations. Jennie is very flexible when it comes to length of time for a shoot and will often keep on shooting just because she’s enjoying it so much.

Pregnancy and new baby sessions start at £50 in your own home and will generally last 1 or 2 hours, new baby shoots can sometimes take a little longer because they sleep, a lot!

Within a couple of weeks of your shoot Jennie will come round at a pre-arranged time and show you a slideshow of your family images. When you’ve chosen the images you like, Jennie will help you to choose the best way to display them whether it’s beautiful canvas, contemporary acrylic or MDF, or even a handmade bespoke Queensberry album. Frames start from £95. Jennie uses the best products from the best suppliers and will show you samples that will complement your style and harmonize with your home.
